Paranormal Forums Pt. 3

So, I'll bring up, Lurking! Why do people lurk ONLY on forums. What are they looking for? That's almost as bad as a peeping tom to me. Then all of a sudden they pop up only when it's something they can get nasty to people about. And, then run off. Sometimes there's hundreds of lurkers and two posters. So, weird.
Posting on forums is a strange life. You think you have friends. But, do you really? Who are these people. It's a kind of scary if you think about it. Who's on the other end? And, you can talk to these same guys for years.
A lot of people run to about 4-5 forums. And, I could swear they don't sleep. Their up all hours of the night.
And, you get some angry people out there. The paranormal forums are really interesting in this area. Because you have the Skeptics. And, then the Believers. Always butting heads. But, GH don't help that either. J, well let's say he's two-faced. I mean you read the book "Ghost Hunting" and flat out he does believe in the occult. But, on the show. Oh, no! I'm science all the way. Make up your mind.
Being a skeptic is easy. It's just. Show me, show me, show me! Then why on earth do you watch the shows. I wouldn't. I don't believe. I'll watch CSI instead. Believer on the other hand. It's hard to make people understand what you experienced. So, sometime these forums take a toll on you.

Paranormal Forums Pt. 2

I do like writing on the forums. But, sometimes you get an added surprise that you don't expect. Like for example: Why is it that you can never say that you are a sensitive? Or, you maybe be "psychic". OMG! That word. You can never ever say. Because of mostly because of Ghost Hunters there is a pride to say your a skeptic. Almost an air of being above the "low life" believers. You can never ever say "occult" either. Which to me, this is all part of the paranormal field. Even religion. It always makes me laugh when people talk about "demons". Good Grief! Don't they get it? That's a religious belief. But, No, we are skeptics, religion has nothing to do with the paranormal. It doesn't make sense?
Because of this I believe that the paranormal field went two step backwards. True, it's not like it use to be like it was during it's height in the 19th century. A lot of fakes. But, isn't there fakery now? Sometimes you find people writing about "equipment". Please, don't get me started. In the real world of electronics. People that have worked many years, scientist, engineers, etc. These people know that the equipment is not a 100% accurate. And, the equipment goes through rigourous testing. Sometimes using a "clean room". Where radio waves cannot penetrate. So the bottom line is: Do you think you can put a toy together from Radio Shack. You can run off and use it and say your getting an accurate reading? Come on! To be scienticfic. You have to go the whole 9 yards. So this gives you a taste of what kind of discussions that go on in a forum. Part 3 tomorrow.

Paranormal Forums

Been on several forums for about 3 years now. And, I'm a little tired reading same complaints.
I'll let you know first right now. I'm a believer. From personal experiences all my life. I use to watch Most Haunted, first. That was so cool. Haven't seen anything like it before. And, I enjoyed the show. Then really not kidding. By accident I found Ghost Hunters. So, here was an American version. Love it!
But, then I saw "fakery". And, that really upset me. I didn't understand why they had to go and do that to a perfectly good show. Both shows I may add, did the same things. Obvious throwing of objects, camera trickery. It felt to me, just so silly for me to continue watching.
So, I first went to Scifi forum thinking that I can add my two cents. And, "bam"! The shear rudeness of the people. So, I found out the hard way. That people are mostly, skeptics. That's ok.
But, very few believers. And, they were into all this equipment. Why? You really can read anything. It's a fact. And, I think they know that. But, they want to believe the new idea of "debunking".
Never heard of that a day in my life. And, I have been surrounded by, let's say it, spirits. Now, after writing these past fews years on forums. I came to terms to keep my own blog. And, discuss my take on my own observations. Bear with me with this blog. I'll fix it. So, it'll make more sense as time goes on.
